Joint Statement From Jennifer Keesmaat & Joe Cressy

Toronto — October 13, 2018: Today, Toronto City Councillor Joe Cressy announced his endorsement of Jennifer Keesmaat for Mayor of Toronto.

“Jennifer is a strong and experienced city-builder, and she has the right vision to tackle the big issues facing our city. Throughout her career, she’s proven to be an effective leader who can get things done -- she knows how to deliver creative solutions to complicated problems, and that’s exactly what we need from our next Mayor. I’m proud to stand beside Jennifer in her efforts to build a more livable and more equal Toronto and to endorse her for Mayor.”

Joe Cressy

“Joe is a strong and principled champion for making our city more livable and affordable, and has proven his effectiveness at working with others at City Hall to make our city better. I strongly support his re-election to City Council. He’s done great work to secure more parks, community centres, and cultural spaces for people in the rapidly growing neighbourhoods in his ward, and has been a staunch advocate for making our streets safer for pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers. I’m honoured that he has decided to support me for Mayor.”
